Wishing You Easter Blessings

Dear Friends,

As we wish you a very blest Easter, we also want to express our sincere thanks to all of you who have supported St. Thomas Aquinas Society (STAS) in prayer, encouragement and donations over the years! We are so grateful.

You are all definitely a very vital part of the graces that have gone out over the years and will in the future. STAS belongs to God and all of you will be greatly blest by Him for your participation because it has come from your hearts.

In preparing this letter, a thought has stayed with me about including questions and answers about STAS, so you will find a section below.

Since the 25th major conference was put on hold with the sale of the Elegante, we were notified in January 2022, discernment was to do smaller quality events in our Colorado Springs Diocese until such time as God would open the window for the big one. It was also said that we might only have 2 months to accomplish it when the time comes.

Not everyone agreed with this discernment, but the attached history of 2022 up to and including the Breakthrough Healing Workshop in January this year, shows that we have been very much alive in grace and events.

The Breakthrough Healing Workshop, January 26-28 at the Antlers Hotel, facilitated by Patrick and Joy Campbell, was a great success in grace. In the final tally, we had 600 registered. We also believe that there may have been as many as 700 on the Saturday evening.

Many of you may have had the gift of watching live streaming on our Facebook page or even on YouTube. You can still find these available.

One of the great joys was to have Fr. Jim Blount, SOLT come. We ask you to keep Fr. Jim in prayer as he keeps a very demanding schedule.

We are grateful to Bishop James Golka, our Bishop in Colorado Springs, who participated with the celebration of Holy Mass on Saturday, January 28. This was also a special blessing as it was the feast day of St. Thomas Aquinas.

Others participating were Fr. Ernie Rush, Fr. Stephen Imbarrato, Fr. Mark Wheelan, SOLT, Fr. Antonio Maria Diez de Medina from London, and Fr. Nathan Lopez from New Mexico. In addition Tony Melendez was here in concert and with Annie Karto, provided music throughout the workshop.

We also enjoyed meeting new friends from 26 different states including Hawaii. Was fun to see Joy wearing a lei!

This workshop came up the day before Thanksgiving and was completed in 2 months and a few days. It was a whirlwind but the Holy Spirit breathes where and when He wills.

Please keep watch on the website for more information. We do not have the funds to send out a mailing. So, if you have been looking for the usual large postcard or any other mailing, we are not able to do so.

Many times over the years, we have asked that those on our list contribute $10. If everyone did just that, it would have a big impact. Expenses do continue throughout the year, so again, your best source of information is our website. And if you would like to contribute $10, we welcome your help. That contribution will receive a blessing of almsgiving.

As always, we ask:
Have you said your Hail Mary today for the St. Thomas Aquinas Society?

Soldier On!

God bless you – Therese
