Summer 2011

Letter From the President

Dear Friends,

Our conference has lined up beautifully and we are looking forward to your coming again. Have you marked your calendars for August 5-7 for our Grace and Salvation Conference at the Pikes Peak Center? A brochure is included in this mailing for your information.

This is an age of Divine Mercy. God has such a great love for all of us. These conferences are part of His great love. They are free so that we can grow in our knowledge and love of our faith. Everyone is welcome. Included in His love is a room for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Masses, the sacraments, inspiring talks, wonderful books and tapes and religious articles for sale, and more. Take advantage of the opportunity for Reconciliation during the weekend.

We also invite you to extend this invitation to others and to continue to keep STAS in your prayers. Our Prayer Motto: Have you said your Hail Mary today for the St. Thomas Aquinas Society?

God bless you – See you in August – Therese Lorentz

Food at Conference: Please remember that you are not able to bring food or drink into the Pikes Peak Center. You may eat outside. There will be food available for purchase in the lobby. A list of restaurants will also be provided at the registration area for your convenience.
Register for the conference NOW! It is a good time to register. Early registrations are very helpful for our conference planning.
Auction: Please consider helping us with our online-to-live auction. If you know of a restaurant, hotel, golf club, spa, food store, clothing store, bookstore, sports store, sports team or any other business that would like to support us with a gift certificate or item and if you are willing to contact them for us, just let us know. We can send you the letter and donation acknowledgement by email so that you can approach that business professionally.
Perhaps some of you belong to a group that might like to put a gift basket together or donate an item yourself. Again, please let us know.

Angel Thomasina

Heavenly Father, please bless the Grace and Salvation Conference and all who will be participating in any way. Please keep all safe in travel and throughout the conference weekend. Send Your angels to extend Your conference invitation to as many as possible. We pray that many will respond so that together we can send up our prayers of grateful thanksgiving and praise. We ask this in Jesus’ name and through the Holy Spirit. Amen
