Two Special Stories
Fr. Joe Whalen, MS – Many of you will remember that Fr. Joe has come a number of times before, bringing his St. Raphael Healing Oil Ministry. We are so please he is coming back. He continues to be active with his associate, Fr. John Welch, MS.
There are amazing stories of healing and reconciliation. Be sure to stop by their table to visit and receive prayers and healing.
They will also have the St. Raphael Healing Oil that so many of you appreciate.
Deacon Jack Sullivan

Dcn. Jack Sullivan has an amazing story of healing and the beatification of Bl. John Cardinal Newman. You won’t want to miss this story.
Prior to becoming a Deacon, Jack Sullivan was suffering tremendous, crippling back pain and his studies to become a deacon were in jeopardy. He happened on a story on EWTN about Cardinal Newman and the need for a miracle for the beatification. Jack prayed, “Please Cardinal Newman, help me to walk so I can return to classes and be ordained.”
Dcn. Jack did have a miracle. His pain was lifted so he could complete his third year of training after which his pain returned and he needed surgery. He needed several months to heal. Jack received another healing which allowed him to complete the fourth year of training and be ordained a deacon. His miracle was approved for the beatification of Bl. Cardinal Newman. Dcn. Jack was blest with the opportunity to read the gospel at the Beatification Mass which was celebrated by now Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. We heard this tremendous story on EWTN and contacted Dcn. Jack. Thanks, EWTN!

A Prayer to the Holy Spirit
by Cardinal Mercier
I am going to reveal to you the secret of sanctity and happiness. Every day for five minutes control your imagination and close your eyes to all the noises of the world in order to enter into yourself. Then, in the sanctuary of your baptized soul (which is the temple of the Holy Spirit) speak to that Divine Spirit, saying to Him:
“O Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul, I adore You. Enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, console me. Tell me what I should do; give me Your orders. I promise to submit myself to all that You desire of me and to accept all that You permit to happen to me. Let me only know Your Will.”
If you do this, your life will flow along happily, serenely, and full of consolation, even in the midst of trials. Grace will be proportioned to the trial, giving you the strength to carry it and you will arrive at the Gate of Paradise, laden with merit. This submission to the Holy Spirit is the secret of sanctity.

Marian Movement of Priest Cenacle
There was a wonderful and grace-filled cenacle at Holy Trinity Parish in Colorado Springs at Holy Trinity Church on May 25 here in Colorado Springs with Fr. Jim Williams. That was the first of many to be held in the future on the First Saturday of the month. Because our conference weekend is on a First Saturday, the August cenacle will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 8:00am – 10am with Mass at 8:00am, followed by Adoration and prayers for priests and vocations. All are welcome.
Father Jason Keas

Our congratulations to Fr. Jason Keas who was ordained Saturday, June 1. Many of you will recognize him. He has helped us with liturgy and Masses during several conferences. Fr. Jason, thanks so much. Now you can also con-celebrate and hear confessions! We are so proud of you! God bless!
